Tivoli Holds Mount Pleasant to Goalless Draw

Leaders Mount Pleasant dropped points at home for only the second time this season after they were held to a goalless draw by Tivoli Gardens in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League at Drax Hall on Sunday.

The draw moved the Theodore Whitmore coached unit to 69 point, confirming their passage to the next phase of the competition.

Tivoli in the meantime remain in the crucial sixth playoff spot, having moved to 46 points.

Racing United are right on their heels following a 2-0 win over bottom club Vere United. Nikle Ellis and Tyrone Mullings got the goals as Racing moved to 44 points.

Montego Bay United missed a chance to go second, as they were held 0-0 by Portmore United.

In other games, Harbour View needed an own goal to beat Dunbeholden 1-0 while Molynes United and Humble Lion ended 1-1.
