Top Cop Turned Transport CEO Addresses Rumors of Return to Police Department

Chester Williams has been making strides in the Ministry of Transportation as he works at greater enforcement and new legislation.  However, with a vacancy now for a Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Home Affairs, we asked Williams if he would be willing to return to the Police Department.  Here is how he responded:

Chester Williams, CEO, Ministry of Transport: “I enjoy working with Dr. Zab. He’s a very, very good minister.”

Renee Trujillo, Host, The Morning Show: Now, you’re going to try to confuse me.

Chester Williams, CEO, Ministry of Transport: “No, it’s true but like I said, I serve at the pleasure of the Prime Minister. I do believe that if you are placed in a position to do a certain work, if you don’t have the passion and love for it, then you’re going to fail at it. I don’t believe in failure and so I make sure that I give the passion and commitment. Now, as a CEO, I serve at the pleasure of the Prime Minister. If the Prime Minister were to say to me, “CEO Williams I believe you’ll be better served in this ministry or that ministry or that ministry as a CEO,” then I will respect the Prime Minister’s views and I will accept. Anywhere I am placed to work I go and I do my work with the greatest degree of passion, commitment and dedication.”

CEO Williams was appointed as a CEO in April this year
