Champion trainer, Jason DaCosta, says it was an emotional experience securing his first derby win at Caymanas Park, on Wednesday.
“I Dream Again” the mount of Robert Halledeen won the 105th running of the Jamaica derby.
The three-year-old chestnut colt finished ahead of pre-race favourite “Burning Hedge” in 2:40.00.
DaCosta says he experienced a roller coaster of emotions throughout the race.
Halledeen says he rode the colt to instruction.
