Treasure Beach Loses Chairman Ahead of JPL Season

Newly promoted Jamaica Premier League outfit, Treasure Beach F.C, will start life in Jamaica’s top flight without their long-serving chairman Jason Henzell. 

Henzell, told Nationwide Sports that the financial burden of operating the club has become too much bear.

Henzell a well known businessman in St. Elizabeth says his business partners, much of who helped to finance the club when they first played in the league two seasons ago, have shown no inclination to return.

Treasure Beach will kick off their season against fellow newcomers Spanish Town Police F.C, at Steths on Sunday.
