Over 400 swimmers from 24 countries are registered for the Carifta Championships and open water swim in Trinidad and Tobago, from April 19-23.
Jamaica’s 30-member team is scheduled to leave the island today.
Member of the organising committee, Jason Wickham, says everything is in place for a successful hosting of the 38th staging of the Championships.
Wickham says they are aiming to get a five start rating from the participating countries at the end of the championships.
