2 weeks ago 4

Chairman of the JLP’s campaign committee, Dr. Christopher Tufton, has accused the PNP of attempting to win the September 3 General Election through the use of a coordinated smear campaign against the governing party.

Dr. Tufton was reacting to Tuesday night’s national debate on economic issues.

During the debate, the PNP’s Julian Robinson and Peter Bunting repeatedly levelled corruption allegations against the JLP and its candidates.

Dr. Tufton says while he expects a robust campaign, the PNP’s strategy has been characterised by bluster and anger.

He says the the PNP’s repeated corruption allegations are baseless.
