Chairman of the Jamaica Labour Party’s, JLP, general election campaign committee, Dr. Christopher Tufton, says the electorate should ignore the claim from Opposition Leader Mark Golding that he’s the man to rescue Jamaica from the governing party.
During a recent People’s National Party meeting in Westmoreland, Golding said he’s a man on a mission to rescue Jamaica from poverty, rebuild trust and institute principled leadership.
But while addressing a JLP meeting in North West Clarendon this week, Dr. Tufton moved to dismiss Golding’s posture.
He says Jamaica was rescued from as far back as 2016 when the Andrew Holness-led JLP booted the Simpson Miller administration from office.
