Two killed, one wounded in Arima attack

Two men were gunned down and a third person wounded as they sat in the gallery of their Arima home on Thursday afternoon. 

Police said Akil Pierre, 23 and Mark Seignoret, 45, were in the gallery of their home at the corner of Edward and Hall Streets, off Sherwood Park, at around 12.40 pm when they were confronted by a masked gunman, who shot them several times before running away. 

Residents heard the gunshots and on checking, found the men bleeding. 
Pierre, Seignoret and a wounded woman were taken to the Arima Health Facility where both men were declared dead.

Police from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II are continuing enquiries.
