Jamaica’s under-20 women’s football team open their campaign against St. Vincent and the Grenadines in group “D of the CONCACAF Under-20 qualifiers in Nicaragua, on Thursday.
This will be the second time these teams meet in the qualifying stage.
Jamaica claimed victory in 2015 and has been part of the Final Round on 12 occasions.
The best result for the Reggae Girlz was in 2006, finishing fourth place in the Championship.
St Vincent and the Grenadines will look to make a statement by playing for their first win against Jamaica.
