UB Toledo Campus Upgrades Facilities With AC Donation

Dr. Osmond Martinez, Minister of State for Economic Development, today handed over four air conditioning units to the University of Belize, Toledo Campus.  Campus’ Administrator Roy Polonio, expressed gratitude, and indicated that units will help improve the students’ learning experience and elevate the space that currently doubles as the campus’ conference room.

The donation was a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Economic Development, the Punta Gorda Town Council and Benny’s Group of Companies. According to Dr. Martinez the donation came about following a recent visit to the university campus.  

Also present at the handing over was the Deputy Mayor of Punta Gorda, Malcolm Galvez.
