The United States Embassy in Belize is commending the United States Air Force for its continued commitment to regional safety and security. In a recent collaboration, airmen from the 571 Mobility Support Advisory Squadron partnered with the Belize Defence Force (BDF) to carry out specialized maritime interdiction training. The joint exercise focused on integrating both air and sea operations to enhance Belize’s capacity to detect and intercept illegal drug shipments before they reach the country’s shores or pass through its waters. By combining advanced aerial surveillance techniques with coordinated maritime response strategies, the training aimed to bolster Belize’s role in counter-narcotics efforts across the region. The U.S. Embassy expressed its appreciation for the squadron’s professionalism and dedication, noting that the mission strengthens not only Belize’s national security but also contributes to the broader safety of the region and the United States. ///
