Vassel Says PNP Has Ignored Roads in Areas Considered Sympathetic to JLP

Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, caretaker for East Central St. Andrew, Davion Vassell, believes residents in Cassia Park are victims of political favouritism.

He made the claim on Nationwide at Five on Tuesday.

Vassell says poor road conditions are but one thing frustrating constituents in East Central St. Andrew.

The People’s National Party’s, PNP, Dr. Peter Phillips has been the sitting MP for East Central St. Andrew since 1993. The 75-year-old is not seeking re-election.

The PNP has selected councillor for the Maxfield Park division, Dennis Gordon, as his replacement.
