The Jamaica Labour Party’s, JLP, Venesha Phillips, says the party’s strategy of campaigning on its achievements in office is causing problems for the opposition People’s National Party.
Speaking in East Rural St. Andrew on Sunday, Phillips says comrades are struggling to respond to a campaign strategy that’s alien to them.
Last week, members of the JLP took to the streets to hand-deliver booklets listing over 250 achievements they’ve scored in nine years as head of government.
Members of the Opposition have labelled it a desperate attempt to boost their re-election campaign.
But, Phillips says the move reflects the party’s connection with the people.
