Voters Urged to Make Proper Assessment of Work Done by Gov’t

National Security Minister, Dr Horace Chang, is encouraging Jamaicans to make a proper assessment of the work done by leaders over the last decade as general elections are fast approaching.

He made the comment while closing the 2025/2026 Sectoral Debate on Tuesday.

The general election is constitutionally due by December this year.

In recent weeks, both the governing JLP and the opposition PNP have been laying out their plans and achievements, citing that citizens have a very critical decision to make in short order.

Dr. Chang outlined a number of major achievements by the government including the efficient management of the economy and the security of citizens.
