Fans of Vybz Kartel will be able to purchase specially discounted tickets this weekend as his much anticipated Freedom Street concert quickly approaches.
The Black Friday weekend sale offers a special opportunity for fans who were not able to secure tickets over the summer when the first round of tickets was released. The now long-sold-out Tier 1 tickets for Freedom Street went on sale in August, with eager fans flocking to the website, causing it to crash.
At the event’s official launch earlier this month, Kartel and the CEO of Downsound Entertainment, Josef Bogdanovich, announced the Black Friday sale, which will see Gaza fans get a 50% Bleachers ticket discount.
Kartel, who will be covering the remaining 50%, described the discount as his way of standing by his beloved fans who have been supporting him.
The sale will commence at 12 a.m. on Friday, November 29 and end at 12 a.m. on Sunday, December 1. So far, former Gaza Empire members Popcaan, Lisa Hyper, Shawn Storm, Sheba, Tommy Lee, and Gaza Indu have been announced for Freedom Street’s lineup.
Spice, Skillibeng, Likkle Vybz, Likkle Addi, Chronic Law, and American rapper Busta Rhymes have also been announced. Tickets for the limited quantity special Gaza Nation bleachers discount will be available at Freedomstreet.com.
