VYBZ KARTEL UNVEILS STAR-STUDDED FEATURE LINEUP AND TRACKLIST FOR NEW ALBUM GOD & TIME

Vybz Kartel, has officially unveiled the full feature lineup and tracklist for his highly anticipated new album, God & Time, arriving this Friday, June 5, 2026.

The project boasts an impressive roster of global collaborators, including Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, Jamaican dancehall icons Mavado and Spice, Puerto Rican Latin music powerhouse Farruko, and Jamaican hitmakers Shenseea and Skillibeng.

Bringing together artists from Jamaica, Nigeria, and Puerto Rico, God & Time blends dancehall, Afrobeats, Latin music, and contemporary Caribbean sounds into a genre-spanning body of work that reflects Kartel’s worldwide influence and the continued global evolution of dancehall music.

One of the album’s most significant moments arrives through the reunion of Vybz Kartel and Mavado — two artists whose rivalry defined dancehall throughout the 2000s during the infamous “Gaza vs. Gully” era. Their clashes, including the legendary 2008 Sting Festival face-offs, became some of the most defining moments in modern Jamaican music history. Their collaboration on God & Time represents a major reconciliation and symbolic new chapter for dancehall culture, arriving just ahead of their highly anticipated Reggae Sumfest headlining appearance later this summer.

“I love the well-roundedness of this album, and the features reflect that. We wanted to give people a little bit of every vibe they want to hear this summer. No matter what mood you are in, there is something on here for you. And as you can see, some of the collaborations could only come together through God and Time,” says Vybz Kartel.

Following back-to-back Grammy-nominated albums Party With Me (2024) and Heart & Soul (2025), Kartel now delivers his most personal and musically diverse project since his release from prison after 13 years. Inspired by the Jamaican phrase “God & Time,” the album explores themes of faith, survival, redemption, gratitude, and creative rebirth.

Produced by longtime collaborator TJ Records alongside Kartel, God & Time reunites the team behind Viking (Vybz Is King) and King of the Dancehall, which featured the RIAA Gold-certified hit “Fever.” The album will be released via TJ Records and Vybz Kartel Muzik and distributed by Zojak World Wide.

Ahead of the album’s release, Kartel has already unveiled the title track, “God & Time,” along with “Panic” featuring Shenseea, which has quickly gained momentum throughout the Caribbean and diaspora as an early song-of-the-summer contender.
