Arnett Gardens star Warner Brown scored twice on Tuesday night to lead the senior Reggae Boyz to a 3-0 win over Guatemala in their group E Concacaf World Cup Qualifier at the National Stadium.
Brown, the top scorer in the recent Jamaica Premier League season, struck in the 37th and 73rd minutes. Jonathan Russell scored the other goal in minute 26.
Jamaica finished the series as zone winners with 12 points, three more than the Guatemalans who along with Jamaica had already secured a spot in the final round of qualifiers.
The draw for that final round will be made on Thursday.
Guatemala and Jamaica will face each other again next Monday at the Concacaf Gold Cup in the United States.
