A member of the West Indies squad currently playing Australia in Barbados is facing a slew of rape and sexual assault allegations.
The player who is said to be from Guyana, was held in custody for a period before he was released on bond.
At last count, 11 women have contacted reporters in Guyana with their story, and one has made an official report to the police.
According to the reports, the alleged incidents took place between 2022 and last year.
Cricket West Indies says it had not heard about the alleged incidents.
The attorney representing one of the alleged victims says they are now waiting on answers from the local police as to why the player was offered bail.
