West Indies Women beat Bangladesh Women by 106 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in their three match Twenty20 International series.
Sent to bat at Warner Park in St Kitts, the Caribbean women reached 201 for 6 from their 20 overs. Opener Qiana Joseph was the pick of the batters, top scoring with 63 from 36 balls.
Joseph was supported by Diandra Dottin, who posted a 20 ball 49. Captain Hayley Matthews scored 27 and Shabika Gajnabi was unbeaten on 24.
Fahima Khatun took three wickets for 38 runs and Rabeya Khatun took two wickets for 26 runs. Shorna Akter took the other wicket.
Chasing 202 for victory, the Bangladeshi women were restricted to 95 for 9 in their 20 overs. Sharmin Ahkter provided the most resistance for the visitors, until she was out leg before wicket on 22 runs.
No other Bangladesh player reached 20 runs.
Cherry-Ann Fraser, Afy Fletcher and Matthews all took two wickets apiece. Zaida Jones and Ashmini Munisar took the other two wickets.
The third and final match in the series will be played on Friday in St Kitts.
