Member of Parliament for Western Portland Daryl Vaz will launch the much anticipated Western Portland Night Football League in his constituency at Lynch Park, on Sunday.
Twenty-Four teams from across the constituency will compete for their share of over $1 million in cash and prizes.
Vaz, says every effort is being made to ensure that this night league will be among the most memorable competitions staged within West Portland.
Vaz has extended an invitation to all residents and stakeholders of the constituency to come and be part of the night football league, saying a motorcycle will be awarded to a super fan at the end of the competition.
