Veteran cricket commentator, Joseph ‘Reds’ Perriera, says the fourth round of the West Indies Four Day Championship holds more significance than just securing points for the eight participating teams.
Round four bowls off on March 5.
Perriera says this round will highlight whether or not the senior players who are now back from white ball cricket will make themselves available and if they’ll be selected to represent the various territories.
He says it will also be a clear indicator if West Indies head coach Daren Sammy was able to influence these players to return to the red ball format.
