West Indies Cricket Development Academy Limited has partnered with Denbigh High School to help strengthen the school’s cricket programme.
The non-profit organization through their partner Cricket Hall of Fame broke ground for a training infrastructure project at the May Pen based school, on Monday.
The project aims to build two concrete pitches with fencing around them for the safety and benefit of future cricketers.
Founder of the academy, Junior codlin, says the project is expected to be completed for the start of the new school term at a cost of over 3-thousand-5-hundred US dollars.
Codlin says they decided to partner with the school after they were approached by a group of students.
