The West Indies have dropped their vice captain Joshua Da Silva for the first test against Pakistan which bowls off in Multan at 12.30 tomorrow morning Jamaica time.
Da Silva has been left out of the eleven following a run of underwhelming performances. Da Silva’s absence is sure to give wicketkeeper-batsman Amir Jangoo his debut.
Tevin Imlach who made an unbeaten 57 against the Pakistan Shaheens in the three day practice game this week, will make his international debut.
Veteran Kemar Roach is unwell, leaving Jayden Seales to lead the bowling attack which is expected to be spin heavy.

The Windies are at the bottom of the world test championship table, just a fraction below Pakistan and the captain says it’s important they end the cycle strongly.

This will be the first test match for the West Indies in Pakistan in 18 years, the last in 2006 was also in Multan.
