The West Indies women’s team will face their English counterparts at the Spitfire Ground in Canterbury on Wednesday in the first game of their three match T20 International series.
The teams will also meet in a similar number of One Day Internationals on the six game tour.
Coach Shane Deitz, says the tour gives the team an opportunity to put their failed quest to qualify for the World Cup behind them.
Deitz admits the team will definitely miss the services of all-rounders Deandra Dottin and Chinelle Henry.
However, he believes others players should take advantage of the opportunities.
