WI Make Four Changes to T20 Squad Ahead of Pakistan Clash

3 weeks ago 5

The West Indies has made four changes to their squad set to face touring Pakistan in their three match T20 series set to bowl off at the Central Broward Park in Florida, on Thursday evening at 7.

The Caribbean team has recalled the quartet of Shamar Joseph, Johnson Charles, Keacy Carty and Alick Athanaze at the expense of Alzarri Joseph, Evin Lewis, Brandon King and Shimron Hetmyer.

Daren Sammy, head coach of the West Indies, shared that it’s crucial that the team erased the memory of their recent thrashing against Australia.

The statistics aren’t in favour of the Caribbean team as Pakistan has won 15 of the 21 T20 Internationals played between the two teams.

The Pakistanis are also looking to get back to winning ways as they recently lost 2-1 to Bangladesh in their recent three-match series.

Sammy says, with the changes, he’s optimistic the team will regroup and play a better brand of cricket.
