The West Indies suffered their second defeat at the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, going down by 65-runs to host Pakistan at the Gaddafi Stadium, in Lahore, on Monday.
Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out fro 191, with a half century from Sidra Ameen. Ameen’s 54 came off 94-balls and included four boundaries.
She got support from Muneeba Ali, 33, Sidra Nawaz, 23, and Aliya Riaz, 20.
Windies skipper, Hayley Matthews, Karishma Ramharack and Afy Fletcher took two wickets each.
In reply, the Caribbean women were bowled out for 126.
Aaliyah Alleyne top scored with 22, while Shabika Gajnabi made 21.
Fatima Sana took three wickets for 16 runs, while Rameen Shamim and Nashra Sandhu each took two wickets.
