Wilson Scores 38pt Double Double in Narrow Slayers Win Over Warriors

Lushane Wilson scored a game high 38 points and 17 rebounds to guide St. George’s Slayers to a close 75-73 win over MoBay Warriors in the National Basketball League at the Stadium courts, on Thursday night.

Richmoor Morris contributed 12 points and four rebounds.

Meanwhile, defending champions Urban Knights beat Portmore Flames 75-67.

Alex Levy was the leading scorer for the Knights with 21 points and 16 rebounds and Ramone Spence had 19 points and 11 rebounds.

In the women’s league, Donae Brown scored 15 points and seven rebounds and Sasha Dixon 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Lady Panthers beat the Lady Eagles 52-41.

The Panthers sits atop the four team table with 11 points from six starts, while the Eagles are second with one point less.

Lady Warriors are third on eight points and Lady Celtics fourth with seven points.
