Captain of the West Indies, Shai Hope, says the players are ready to take on Ireland in the first of three One-Day Internationals, ODIs, in Dublin, on Wednesday.
Hope says travelling to Ireland early gave them the opportunity to get acclimatise to the weather conditions.
He says he’s encouraged by the positive attitude from the senior players.

The last time both teams met in an ODI series was in the Caribbean in 2022 which Ireland won 2-1.
Their captain, Paul Stirling, would like to replicate that performance at home.
Stirling is not too concern about losing 5 members of his squad over the past 24-hours due to injuries.
