Wolmer’s are the ISSA All-island under-15 schoolboy’s volleyball champions.
The Heroes Circle-based school lifted the trophy after beating Knox College 20-17 in the final at GC Foster College, on Thursday.
Wolmer’s, after losing to Knox in the first round earlier in the day, were more composed when it mattered most. They beat Oracabessa 18-11 in the semifinals, while Knox stopped Papine High 18-15.
Knox did not manage their service game well in the championship game and paid the price. On the other hand, Wolmer’s were efficient with their serving, and it made the ultimate difference in what was a competitive tournament.

Third place went to Oracabessa, who beat Papine 18-17.
