Woman Hospitalized After Early-Morning Shooting in Mahogany Heights

Police are investigating a shooting incident in Mahogany Heights that left one woman hospitalized.  Authorities say that around two thirty this morning, police received information of shots fired in the community. Officers responded to a residence identified as house number four, where they observed a peach-coloured wooden bungalow with what appeared to be multiple bullet holes inside the walls.  68-year-old Rudolph Ramsey told police that he was at home sleeping along with his two sons and daughter-in-law when they were awaken by several loud bangs sounding like gunshots.  Moments later, he found that his daughter-in-law, 26-year-old Abreanna Ramsey was shot.  She was transported to the Western Regional Hospital for medical treatment, where she has since been listed in stable condition.
