DJ Mac and Crash Dummy’s WYFL Riddim continues its remarkable global rise after officially claiming the No. 1 spot on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Albums Chart, just a day after debuting at No. 2. The fast-moving success further cements the 45-track compilation as one of the biggest dancehall and reggae projects of 2025 and 2026, while signalling the genre’s growing international demand across streaming and digital platforms.
The momentum surrounding the project extends beyond reggae alone. As of Sunday, May 10, 2026, the WYFL Riddim album also sits at No. 24 on the iTunes Top 100 New Album Releases Chart and has entered the broader All-Genres iTunes Top 100 Albums Chart at No. 72, highlighting its crossover appeal outside traditional reggae audiences. The project features a wide-ranging lineup of talent, including new offerings from rising sensation Ayetian and reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji, adding fresh energy to an already dominant compilation.
The latest achievement builds on months of momentum for DJ Mac, whose WYFL Riddim previously generated strong traction across YouTube trending charts and streaming platforms earlier this year. The project’s consistent chart presence helped position it as one of dancehall’s standout musical movements before the full album was officially released on May 8.
Reacting to the growing success, DJ Mac told Prism Marketing Consultants, “Its a great feeling seeing dancehall on such a global scale right now. The WYFL has done that for sure.” With the album continuing to gain traction internationally, industry eyes are now fixed on how much further the WYFL Riddim can push dancehall into mainstream global chart territory.
