[YGB Entrepreneurial Awards] 2023 Honoree Announcement

The Young, Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Awards, Inc. announces the 2023 Honorees to be honored during Black History Month on February 22, 2023.  Mr. Carl O. Gray, President-CEO and Founder of the awards platform states “this platform has become a global brand being existence for 18 years…these honorees all exemplify the mission of the awards which is to Provide Opportunity With Effective Resource – Networking – Motivates Optimizes Transcends Inspires Organizes Nurtures individuals towards empowerment.” The selected honorees are the “Unsung Heros & Heroines” within their communities  through “hard work and determination…Continue to Pursue Success!”


The Young, Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Awards, Inc. is now a New York Non-Profit Charitable Organization and is currently in the process of registering for the tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Mr. Gray states, “this strategic move is long overdue and necessary to expand the brand by raising funds to help produce and  assist with specific global initiatives, large and small Business Development,  Educational Scholarships & Grants, and the Building of Entrepreneurs both new and established entities.” The Young, Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Awards, Inc. should no longer be considered a local product, its roots are currently planted and expanding across the United States, Canada, Africa and the Caribbean.

The 2023 Young, Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Awards Honorees represents a diverse collective of entrepreneurial individuals showcasing “Black Excellence” across Business Management, Healthcare, Music Entertainment, Sports Medicine, Philanthropy, Community Service, Artist, Fashion, Brand Management and Technology.


The 2023 list of honorees are beacons shedding light on the Healthcare field to identify individuals such as George Leconte, CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem and Maija Neville-Williams, COO of The Rockefeller University Hospital both who will receive our Businessman and Businesswoman of Year Award in Health Care Management & Administration; John Xavier Lambert, 9 year old Author “kidpreneur” and STEM enthusiast and Nicholas Buamah, 9 year old Author having 3 bestselling books into the Library of Congress both receiving our Nina Simone Artistic Excellence Awards; Ralph Woods Jr. aka Da Fireman DJ S-1, one of NYC top ‘Mixologists’ DJ roster on the Legendary New York-based radio station, WBLS 107.5fm receiving the Disc Jockey of the Year Award; Dr. Trevor Dixon, M.D., CEO & Director, JAHJAH Foundation receiving the Philanthropist of the Year Award…just to name a few.  Please view the list below to see the complete roster of 2023 honorees.


The Young, Gifted & Black (YGB) Entrepreneurial Awards also conducted its annual public poll to  select artistes whose musical body of work influences both their industry and community wherein the overall success story impacts society and continues to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit.

The Young, Gifted & Black (YGB) Entrepreneurial Awards program is a simple measure of giving recognition, highlighting and showing appreciation towards one’s peers. The Young, Gifted & Black (YGB) Entrepreneurial Awards program places an emphasis on individuals that continue to reach levels of success through hard work and determination. There isn’t a formal selection criterion to receive this award; rather the program is designed for peer-to-peer acknowledgement of their Talent, Ambition and Achievements toward the “Continued Pursuit of Success “outlined by where they have been in life to where they are now as ambassadors of the entrepreneurial spirit.
