Young Trio qualify for Sandals Golf & Jerk Festival

Cavani James, Jerone Thomas, and Tyreek Smith, emerged as the top players in the inaugural Care for Kids Junior Golf tournament at the Sandals Golf and Country Club.

James top the 13-player tournament with a score of 75, with Thomas second on 66 and Smith 58 third.

Operation Director, Sandals Foundation, Karen Zacca, says the competition gave the players the opportunity showcase their talent to drive, chip and putt.

Zacca says the tournament qualify for the trio for the Sandals Golf and Jerk Festival, on June 15.
