Event coordinator, Briana Burke, is expecting some strong competition at the inaugural Jamaica Badminton Academy Shuttle Showdown tournament.
The tournament is set for the YMCA over two weekends – September 14-to-15 and September 21-to-22.
Burke says there is a good mixture of youth and experienced players on show.
She says athletes will be places in three categories.
