Zaneta Alvaranga to Return to Local Competitive Swimming at Rainforest Blue Marlin Open Water

Head coach of Kaizen Swim Club, Rory Alvaranga, announced that former age group standout swimmer, Zaneta Alvaranga, will make her return to local competitive swimming when she competes at the Annual Rainforest Blue Marlin Open Water Swim meet.

The event is set for Doctors Cave Bathing Club in Montego Bay, on Saturday.

Meanwhile, St. Lucian Olympian Mikail Charlemagne, will also be on show at the meet.

Charlemagne has been on the island honing her skills after ending her college degree at Yale. This will be her second competition in three weeks on Jamaican soil.

She won the 15 – 24 age group 100-metres Freestyle and the 50-metres Freestyle at the recent Swimaz Aquatic Long Course Championships.
