80th Queen of the Bay Set to Honour Legacy of Past Winners

A major part of the national Celebrations is the Queen of the Bay competition, now entering its 80th year. The delegates have already been chosen, and preparations are already underway for the pageant, which has been a staple event since 1946. Sherima Guity, Queen of the Bay President, says that this year’s pageant will honor not just the incoming queen but those who have come before her.
