Jamaican race car driver, Alex Powell, returned to the podium in round three of the Italian F4 Championship, following misfortunes in race one, where his front wing was broken in a tough battle with teammate Dion Gowda, at the Piero Taruffi Circuit in Vallelunga .
In race two, the Mercedes Jr driver from Prema Racing maintained his position two from qualifying, defended his position without taking risks from occasional attacks from behind, and secured another position two podium in race three after starting from pole.
He also secured two victories in the rookie class.
Powell’s podium finishes move him up to third in the overall standings and second in the rookie standings.
There are four rounds left in the 2024 Championship, with the next race being at the Mugello circuit on July 12–14.
