Sports analyst, Leighton Levy, believes the men’s 4-by-100-metres relay world record could come under threat if Jamaica is able to field its strongest team at the World Championships in Tokyo, in September.

The men’s sprint relay world record is 36.84 seconds, set by Jamaica at the 2012 London Olympics. The team consisted of Nesta Carter, Michael Frater, Yohan Blake, and Usain Bolt.

Speaking on his Instagram social media platform, LeightonLevy_sheara50, Levy says a new Jamaica quartet could own that 13-year-old record at the end of the championships.
