Baby Cham mourns the loss of his mother, Mama Jennie

Dancehall star Baby Cham is mourning the loss of his beloved mother, Mama Jennie.

Taking to Instagram, Cham shared the heartbreaking news along with a heartfelt tribute:

“The most beautiful human being I know. One Don Mama Jennie. May Jehovah prepare a place for you. I’m gonna miss you so much. One Don. Mama Jennie, I love you with all my body and soul.”

He posted the message alongside a video snippet of special moments with his mom.

Football star Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, producer Baby G, and entertainers Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Mr. G, and Pamputtae were among the many offering condolences in the comments.

Mr. G, who grew up around Mama Jennie, wrote:

“She was one of the humblest human beings I ever came across. Growing up on Sherlock Crescent, Mama Jennie was a mother to most of us. She was a classy, sophisticated woman who led by example—a woman of God, kind, compassionate, and caring. You will be missed by many. May you be blessed with eternal life. Rest in peace. One of God’s angels has returned to Him.”

Sean Paul added:

“Condolences my G. May she R.I.P. Blessings to you and the fam.”

Cham has not revealed any details surrounding the cause of her death.
