Belize City Man Charged for 2022 Home Invasion and Sexual Assault

Police have arrested and formally charged 31-year-old Leon Lamb in connection with a violent home invasion and sexual assault that occurred in 2022 in Belize City. Lamb invaded a woman’s home while pretending to be a police officer. After entering, he held the 30-year-old woman at gunpoint, demanding oral sex while her roommate was in another room. According to reports, he struck the woman with the firearm before forcing her into a bedroom and sexually assaulting her. The victim later testified that Lamb became enraged upon discovering that she was menstruating and allegedly slapped her…calling her a “pig,” before fleeing the scene. Lamb is to be sentenced on December 5, 2025 in the meantime, the court has ordered a psychiatric evaluation of Lamb.
