The body of 17-year-old Caleb Bradley was recovered this morning from the river in Lord’s Bank Village in the Belize District. The student’s body was found and retrieved just after seven o’clock, ending a search that began late yesterday afternoon. Love News understands that Bradley went to the river at around three o’clock yesterday along with two friends who are minors. A distress call was made to Ladyville Police at around four thirty, indicating that Bradley had gone under and did not resurface. The Chairman of Lord’s Bank Village, Daniel Salinas, says the area where the three teenagers went swimming is a popular area that was once a popular resort area.
According to a report from Bradley’s friends, he had jumped off a concrete pier, went under the water and did not resurface. Caleb Bradley was attending Canaan High School and was in his fourth year. The family has declined to comment on the ordeal.
