Bollywood superstar turned pop icon Nora Fatehi has teamed up with Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea for a sizzling cross-continental collaboration that’s taking the internet by storm. Their new single, “What Do I Know (Just A Girl),” dropped Friday (Nov. 7) via 5 Junction and Warner Records, and its glamorous music video has already surpassed 13.7 million views in just three days. The infectious track fuses sleek house-pop production with a bold dancehall edge, celebrating femininity, confidence, and global unity through sound and style.

The track, penned by Grammy-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter and produced by Max Martin and Robyn, flips the viral “I’m just a girl” meme into a cheeky pop anthem about power and self-assurance. “It’s a brilliant concept… a way of telling the world that we play the game wisely, but with our own rules,” Fatehi told Billboard. “We know what we bring to the table, and our power is not to be taken for granted.”

Shenseea, whose verse adds a spicy Jamaican flair, said the collaboration pushed her creatively: “I definitely learned to be more expressive and animated,” she shared, referencing the video’s Marilyn Monroe-inspired visuals directed by Arrad and choreographed by JaQuel Knight. The cinematic clip channels vintage Hollywood glamour with a modern twist — complete with a comedic airplane sequence that has fans replaying it nonstop.

The single’s rollout comes amid Fatehi’s most ambitious year yet. Fresh from starring in Amazon Prime’s Be Happy and Netflix’s The Royals, the Canadian-born Indian star is also set to make her U.S. television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon alongside Shenseea — a major milestone that cements her as one of South Asia’s most visible crossover acts. “With ‘What Do I Know,’ I’m embracing a sound and attitude that reflect everything I’ve learned from my journey so far,” Fatehi said. “It’s not about fitting in; it’s about creating my own lane in the pop world.”

With over 46 million followers and growing global acclaim, Fatehi is positioning herself among the new generation of international pop girls. Her upcoming 2026 EP, she revealed, will continue blending Bollywood, Afrobeat, Arabic, and Caribbean influences — a sonic cocktail that promises to keep her at the forefront of global pop culture.
