Bomb Threat Disrupts Morning Court Proceedings on Coney Drive, Declared False Alarm

A bomb threat which luckily turned out to be a false alarm around 9:00 this morning brought the new matters being called up at the Magistrate’s Court on Coney Drive this morning to an abrupt halt.  Authorities wasted no time in clearing out the staff and others to thoroughly sweep the area ensuring it’s safe for this afternoon’s matters. It’s alleged that the threat was made to defer gang leader Jahreem Staine better known as “32” from facing additional charges for breaking his curfew which was a condition of his bail he was granted for the August 1 attempt murder of Rojas.
