Head coach of MVP track Club, Stephen Francis, says sprinter Kishane Thompson is in form to produce something special at the National Senior Championships at the National Stadium, from June 27-30.
The relatively then unknown Thompson stole the spotlight on day one of the Championships last year.
Thompson, who’ll be 23 in July stun the National Stadium when he clocked 9.91 seconds to win his quarter-final of the men’s 100-metres.
Running from lane 8, he defeated pre race favourite Ackeem Blake who was second in 10 seconds.
Speaking on Sportsmax, Francis says Thompson, who has a personal best of 9-point-85, is in the best shape of his career.
Francis says its the first time in years Thompson has been able to complete his training programme.
