The Court of Appeal ordered that Dominic and Genevieve Hadeed be immediately released from detention but confined to their home at, Bayshore, Westmoorings, subject to the following conditions:
Surrender all passports and travel documents.
Surrender all firearms in their possession.
Surrender all communication devices.
No communication with anyone outside the residence, whether directly or indirectly, without prior approval from the Commissioner of Police.
Remain at the residence at all times and not leave without the permission of the Commissioner of Police.
No visitors are allowed at the residence without the prior approval of the Commissioner of Police.
Only approved medical practitioners, legal practitioners and/or caregivers may enter the residence.
Allow authorised Trinidad and Tobago Police Service officers to enter the property at reasonable times to conduct inspections and ensure compliance with the court’s order.
Any breach of the conditions will make either appellant liable to be returned to detention under their respective Preventive Detention Orders (PDOs).
Electronic monitoring: The Hadeeds agreed to be fitted with electronic monitoring devices. If the State requires ankle monitors, arrangements must be made as soon as possible. However, their release is not dependent on the monitors being installed first.
