Craig Anderson was crowned champion of the men’s open singles “A” division at the Jamaica Badminton Academy Shuttle Showdown tournament at the YMCA.
Anderson beat Joel Angus 21-18, 21-17 in the final.
Meanwhile, Katherine Wynter won the the women’s open title, out scoring Alexandra Beckford 21-9, 21-12.
In the open’s men doubles final Anthony McNee teamed up with Kemar Valentine to beat Kenneth Anglin and Joel Angus 21-12, 21-18.
Zamani Allen won the under-19 boys division and Jillian Yap won the under-19 girls title,
Jutin Dillion won the boys under-11 title, and Brea Grant the under-11 girls trophy.
