Dangriga Police Raid Home, Discover Drugs and Ammunition

On Wednesday, October 20, at around 4 am on Magoon Street in Dangriga, Police carried out a joint operation at the residence of 56-year-old Charles Peebles where they found ammunition and drugs. 

ASP Stacy Smith: “This operation led to the discovery of a 9mm pistol, 45 rounds of 9mm ammunition, a total of 462 grams of cannabis, a total of 41 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 787 grams of cocaine. These items were found in different places in the residence. As a consequence of this, Charles Peebles, a 56-year-old of Magoon Street, has been formally arrested and charged for the offences of Kept Firearm Without a Gun License, Kept Ammunition Without a Gun License, and several counts of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.”
