Rain has stopped play in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup between champions England and India at Providence in Guyana.

Captain Rohit Sharma 37 and Suriyakumar Yadav 13 are the not out batsmen.

Virat Kohli went for 9 and Rishabh Pant dismissed for 4 after the Indians were asked to bat.

India 65 for 2 after 8 overs at the stoppage.

The winner of today’s semi-final will face South Africa in the final on Sunday at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown Barbados.

South Africa cruised into their first ever ICC global final after a clinical nine wicket win over surprised package Afghanistan in the first semi-final Wednesday night in Trinidad.
