Feinstein’s British Legal Team Seeks Stay in High-Stakes Stake Bank Case

The stakes are high in the embattled Stake Bank case and this morning in the High Court the Finestein fraud case was supposed to begin before Justice Goonetilleke but Feinstein’s team of British attorneys headed by Richard Salter KC, widely regarded as judicial royalty, a distinguished Crown Counsel, sought a stay of the proceedings in order to appeal a refusal to allow them to admit fresh evidence. The matter was adjourned to allow the Court of Appeal to make a decision before the matter could proceed.

Feinstein now commands one of the strongest and most internationally recognized legal teams in the region. Their presence underscores the exceptional gravity and global importance of the high-profile Stake Bank case now before the Belize courts. His team comprises of David Goldberg, founding partner of Pinna Goldberg, who arrived in Belize to represent the Feinstein Group and Richard Salter KC along with Rumen Cholakov, a leading barrister in complex civil fraud, banking, and cross-border arbitration. Dmitry Laverchev, Russian Counsel recognized for his deep expertise in complex cross-border disputes and high-value sovereign matters.
