Initial investigations reveal a Ford F-150 pickup, driven by 40-year-old Osman Pineda, a Belizean businessman of Belize City, was traveling from Belize City to Belmopan when he allegedly collided with the rear left wheel of a 1996 Kenworth Freightliner, driven by 28-year-old Urvin Wilfredo Arriaza, a Belizean truck driver of Cayo District. Following the collision, the Ford pickup truck lost control and crashed head-on into a Nissan Versa, which was traveling behind the Freightliner. The accident resulted in the deaths of 35-year-old Othoniel Vasquez Moreno, a Belizean Mexican laborer of Mexico City, and 46-year-old Amisadai Valdez Dominguez, also a Mexican laborer. Both men were transported to the K.H.M.H. morgue, where they await post-mortem examinations.
